Overview

Binghamton University’s School of Management (SOM) doctoral program is a unique, interdisciplinary course of study that emphasizes theory and research methodology to prepare students for careers in academia as well as the public and private sectors. A PhD with any of the following concentrations helps graduates to succeed in the competitive world of business:

-Finance
-Management Information Systems
-Marketing
-Organizational Behavior and Leadership
-Supply Chain Management

The program boasts an intimate, collaborative 1:1 student-faculty ratio. Students work closely with faculty and have opportunities to co-author articles for leading academic journals and present research findings at professional conferences.

Students admitted to the doctoral program receive funding, in the combination of a full tuition scholarship and a teaching or research assistantship for a full academic year.
