Official Transcript showing the completion of a Bachelor’s degree from an appropriately accredited college or university.The applicant’s prior college academic records must show a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2.5 on a scale of 4.0, “C” or higher.
Copy of the applicant’s Curriculum Vitae or Professional Resume.
International Students: For those prospective students for whom English is not their native (first) language and who have not earned a degree from an appropriately accredited institution where English is the principal language of instruction, ABTU requires applicants for the Master’s Degree must have a minimum score of 530 on the paper-based Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL PBT) or 71 on the Internet Based Test (iBT) or a 6.5 on the International English Language Test (IELTS). A minimum grade of Level 3 on the ACT COMPASS’s English as a Second Language Placement Test, a minimum grade of Pre-1 on the Eiken English Proficiency Exam, or a minimum B-2 English proficiency level identified within the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) standards on an approved ESOL examination may also be accepted.
*Transcripts not in English must be evaluated by an appropriate third party and translated into English or a trained transcript evaluator fluent in the language on the transcript. In this case, the evaluator must have expertise in the educational practices of the country of origin and include an English translation of the review.
ABTU reserves the right to accept students on a conditional basis if one or more of the above mentioned requirements are not met upon admission. However, any deficiencies must be remedied within four months from the program start date.
