The program is designed to review basic concepts and principles of hotel and tourism management with a focus on listening and speaking in English. Courses emphasize customer service best practices and professional conduct. Professors will incorporate lectures, presentations, case studies and writing to ensure an understanding of business terminology and principles. This teaching method includes field trips, guest lectures, small group discussions and other experiential learning modalities that enhance practice and retention. Weekly assignments are designed to develop and instill students with confidence in their soft skills through oral presentations, team projects and discussions. Students directly apply their knowledge through hands-on, professional experience during 12 months of paid optional practical training.
